TCU Alumnus’ Nonprofit Creates Interdisciplinary Research Opportunities
AddRan alumnus John D. Wood ’08 is helping expand interdisciplinary research opportunities for TCU faculty and students through his nonprofit initiative, Econautics, rooted in place-based learning. By transforming a former Fort Worth golf course into a living research site, the project brings together a variety of disciplines. Through hands-on collaboration spanning the sciences, humanities and arts, the initiative creates pathways for innovative research while reimagining how experiential learning can serve both scholarship and community.
