We are excited to announce that the Criminology & Criminal Justice Department has been awarded this year's J. Edgar Hoover Memorial Scholarship from the Former Agents of the FBI Foundation. Established in 1978 to honor Mr. Hoover’s commitment to educational excellence in law enforcement, this prestigious scholarship selects a four-year college or university in the United States for recognition annually. Mr. Hoover was a visionary in promoting professional standards in law enforcement, founding the FBI Academy at Quantico and the FBI National Academy to ensure that agents received the highest level of training. This scholarship continues his legacy by supporting institutions dedicated to developing well-educated and qualified law enforcement personnel. We are honored to carry forward this mission and thank the Former Agents of the FBI Foundation for this incredible recognition!
